Architectural Overview

The intention of a separate installer for the Self Destruct Message website, is to allow recipients access to Self Destruct Messages without the need to make your main Passwordstate URL accessible on the Internet.

The site can be installed separately in your DMZ, and your Passwordstate instance pushes/pulls all data to this site, and the Self Destruct website itself does not require any access back to your main Passwordstate install.

If you do not install the Self Destruct Message site separately, you can still use the functionality as the site is embedded as part of your main Passwordstate install as well i.e. it would be accessed using your standard Passwordstate URL, but with /selfdestruct appended to the end.
