Self Destruct Message Installation ​

These instructions are for the Push/Pull implementation of the Self Destruct Message Website.

System Requirements - General ​

With the Push/Pull method, all data is pushed/pulled from your Passwordstate instance, and the Self Destruct Message Website does not need access back to your Passwordstate environment.

Note: If you are using the embedded site which comes installed with Passwordstate, or you are using the Self Destruct Website which comes with the Passwordstate App Server installation, then do not follow these instructions.

The Push/Pull instance of the Self Destruct Message website has the following system requirements for the Operating System:

  • Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022, 2025 or Windows 11
  • Internet Information Services (installed as a role in the Windows Operating System)
  • Microsoft .NET Framework 4.7.2 or above
