KB: Upgrade Browser Based Remote Session Launcher Gateway Pre Build 9627 ​

If you are upgrading from a build of Passwordstate prior to 9627, then the following is required – there has been some architectural changes to the Remote Session Gateway:

  1. As per point 2 above, you need to copy across the html folder to where you have the gateway installed separately
  2. In the gateway.conf file, you need to:
    • Add the line “recdir.play.enable = true” as you see in the screenshot below
    • And update the “html” setting to be like the screenshot below
    • Then restart the “Passwordstate-Gateway” Windows Service
