Passwordstate Application Programming Interfaces (APIs)

Passwordstate has 3 different APIs, with a summary below of each. Please use the menus to the left to reference the correct API documentation.

API	Description
Standard API	The Standard API uses API keys for authentication, which can be set at the Password List, Folder, or System Wide level.
User Based API	The Standard API uses API keys for authentication, which is associated with a user's account in Passwordstate. It provides the user the same level of access as to when they loghed into User Interface.
Windows Integrated API	The Windows Integrated API uses, does not use API keys for authentication, instead uses the User's authenticated Windows session when accessing the API. It provides the user the same level of access as to when they loghed into User Interface.
