With 1 CAL is enough for connecting the web server to the DB and given access to all the users? support Posted May 27, 2020 Share Posted May 27, 2020 Hi Pedro, We do not have much in the way of SQL Server licensing backgound, so your question might be better directed to Microsoft. For our software though, it uses a single SQL Account to connect to the database, so we would presume you would require 1 CAL per instance of SQL Server that our software talks to.
