Rael
Hello. We're currently running a trial of Passwordstate on a dedicated server (WIN 2019) in our corporate network. The installation went well and we configured most of the settings in passwordstate so far. The only issue we are having is that we couldn't find a way to activate active-directory authentication. The server is a member of the domain and we've added our domain information in passwordstate (also added privileged account credentials to read from AD). The authentication model in the Passwordstate Administration window reads "Forms-Based Authencation". What are we missing here? Thank you for your help. support
Hi Rael, The issue here is that you did not select the 'Active Directory Integrated' version of Passwordstate when you installed it, instead you selected 'Forms-Based' Authentication. So we have two options here: You reset the installer, and install again - https://www.clickstudios.com.au/community/index.php?/topic/1663-resetting-the-passwordstate-setup-process/ Or you download this document and migrate from forms to AD - depending on whether you have much data in the system, the option above might be quicker - https://www.clickstudios.com.au/downloads/Forms_to_AD_Migration.pdf We hope this helps. Rael
I've followed the Forms to AD Migration pdf and followed the steps. It worked! Thank you very much. Kind regards
