The server is not operational error

Recommended Posts

We had a customer recently who had issues importing AD Security Groups into the Administration area for our Password Reset Portal module.

Below is the error reported, and the customer provided the following feedback which fixed it for them:

The Fix
Our DCs were not named explicitly in the SAN attribute of the certificate. Instead, our naked domain was named. Even when pointing to a specific A record in the PasswordState settings, it must have still been enumerating the DC hostnames from the root of our domain
