Failed Upgrade - Server Down

Recommended Posts

Hi scubes13,

I believe you must have missed the important notification screen after the upgrade completely - it informed you that you need PowerShell 3 or above installed on your Passwordstate web server.

The following forum post has some detail on this for you, and how t fix it - http://www.clickstudios.com.au/community/index.php/topic/1528-server-error-in-application-after-upgrading-to-build-7393-or-later/

Hi scubes13,

This was the case previously, but in this build we now have the ability to test reset/discovery/validation scripts through the user Interface, as well as a new Account Heartbeat process which relies on PowerShell.

Even if you are not using these features, we have to include a reference to a PowerShell assembly in the web.config file, for the customers who do wish to use these features.
