Jeff Pritchett
I'm trying to get the new app to work on my phone. But every time I scan the QR code I get a connection failed error. The correct address does shows up in the textbox on the app though. I believe I have the latest updates on all my servers now. Anything I can try. support
Hi Jeff, On your phone, can you please try browsing (in Chrome or other browser) to your App Server URL. Do you see a 404 page not found, and is the SSL Certificate trusted? Thanks Click Studios
Jeff Pritchett
I do see the 404 error and the SSL cert is installed. I just tried it again but got the same error.
support
Hi Jeff, When you upgraded to build 9050, did you upgrade the App Server at the same stage - we think you were helping with the beta testing? In the App Server's web.config file, can you also check that the database connection string, and secrets, are the same as the ones in the web.config file from your Passwordstate web server? If you did, can you contact us via our support page here https://www.clickstudios.com.au/support.aspx so we can try and troubleshoot this further? Jeff Pritchett
It does show the app server version number as 9050, and yes I did it at the same time. And I just then checked the web.config for both of the site and they do match with each other. I will contact you through support. Thank you some much for your help! I didn't realize that I had to re-sync the SSL certificate in the main site after I updated it in IIS. I hope that helps
