  1. When I go into PS and select a password to use via Self Destruct, I get to the 2nd step and click the "Copy" button to copy the URL of the password...

However, all that gets copied is: https://mydomain.com/selfdestruct/?id=

If I manually copy the entire URL, when I go to it, I get "Self Destruct Message Not Found."

I have confirmed that the selfdestruct is set as an Application in IIS.

    Any thoughts?

  2. Is there a way to change out the logo and title used on the Self Destruct Message page?

Our logo and custom title show throughout all other pages in PasswordState, but not on the Self Destruct page.

Also, even though we changed the Subject line of the Self Destruct Message email template, the Subject line still shows up with the default Subject. Other changes to the body of the email template work fine.

  3. One of my frustrations with the DUO Security login page is that when you key in your password, the "Enter" key does not submit the form (ie, equivalent of pressing the "Send Push" button).

On the surface, I find this funny that it annoys me so much. However, I can't tell you how many endless times I hit enter only to realize seconds later that I forgot i had to click. :P

Can you make the "Send Push" button on the DUO login page respond to the Enter / Return key? Pretty pretty please. :)

  4. Getting really frustrated with the Passwordstate extension system.

I have had an issue where the extension stopped filling forms over the last several months. This was already reported. It happens across the last several versions of Passwordstate and the Passwordstate Chrome Extension. This has been confirmed within our organization across multiple Macs. (This is reported here: http://www.clickstudios.com.au/community/index.php/topic/1591-chrome-plugin-no-longer-entering-credentials/ )

Now, we updated to the latest versions of both the main system and the extension. Suddenly, we all get the red icon and it never turns white.

While checking the plugin, we noticed that the bubble that appears when clicking the icon in the toolbar of Chrome on Mac shows build 7531..

    Image%202015-12-31%20at%206.36.27%20PM.p

On the Extensions listing in Chrome, it shows as build 7.5.3.2.....

    Image%202015-12-31%20at%206.38.49%20PM.p

    Help would be greatly appreciated.....

EDIT: Note, we always use a FQDN (ie, https://ps.domain.com )

  5. For the last several months, on various version of Mac (10.10/10.11), various versions of Chrome (currently  47.0.2526.80) and multiple versions of Passwordstate (currently V7.5 Build 7515) I have had an issue where any site that I go to, I have to manually go into Passwordstate web GUI, search for the site and copy the credentials. The extension (currently 7.2.2.3) no longer will fill out any of the web login screens.

In most cases, it will show the users in the drop down from the menu bar button. However, it will never enter that information into a website.

Any ideas of what is going on?

  6. I receive the following error once I press the button to send the push request to DUO.

Any thoughts on how to resolve? Currently locked out.

  7. Ok, I am back.... :)

    PasswordState 7.2 (Build 7243)

    PasswordState Extension Build 7185

    Chrome 42.0.2311.135 (64-bit)

    OS X 10.10.3

I have no extensions installed in Chrome other than the PasswordState Extension.

I have logged into my PasswordState account. No matter what page I go to, the extension remains red. It never turns white.

I have already double checked the URL in the Miscellaneous section of the System Settings. It hasn't changed.

This is working on another Mac.

The Mac with the issue is a brand new machine, new install, and all new software installs.

  8. I am using Chrome ( 41.0.2272.104 (64-bit) ) on Mac OS X 10.10.2.

    I have Passwordstate V7.1 (Build 7185) installed.

I have the Chrome Passwordstate extension (Extension Build 7185) installed.

Regardless of how many times I go to the Passwordstate server and login, the extension never "programs itself". It remains red.

I have disabled all other extensions in Chrome. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Passwordstate extension.

    What am I missing?

  9. PS: 7.1.7123

    Mac: 10.10.2

    Safari: 8.0.3 (10600.3.18)

When adding a password in PS, if I use Safari and click the "Save" button, the system still shows me the "Add New Password" screen. Nothing "seems" to happen.

So, I usually press "Save" a second time. Same thing, nothing appears to happen.

The password list behind/under the Add New Password window remains unchanged.

Then I press the Cancel button and the window closes.

With the "Add New Password" window closed, when I refresh the Password List, the password entry I just tried adding suddenly shows up. And, because I hit Save twice, I now have two copies.

"Save and Add Another" appears to work just fine. It saves the entry, I see it show up in the password list behind/under the Add New Password window. And it advances to a clear/empty form for the next password.

    Help? :)

  10. I have a 7.1 (build 7123) server.

It is set to authenticate against a MS Active Directory server.

It is also set to use DUO Security 2FA upon login.

When I go to the PS website from a computer NOT on the domain, I get an HTTP Auth "type" user/password prompt.

I then get a second web GUI screen that once again prompts me for my Domain/Username, Password and then the "Send Push" button for DUO.

Is there any way to cut down on the need for me to input my user/password twice when logging in like this?

I'd have expected to have seen the HTTP Auth type prompt and then just the "Send Push" prompt....

  11. From the JS console when I push the "Send Push" button:

  12. I exported all passwords from our old PS server (7.0.x).

I setup a new PS 7.1.x server complete with AD authentication.

When I try to import the passwords from the CSV file, I get errors like the following:

"Row 289: Could not find a matching Password List in the database. Possibly you specified an incorrect PasswordListID, or possibly one for a Folder."

This current PS server is entirely empty. I have not created *ANY* entries in it yet.

Any tips on how to get this information into the system as easily as possible?

  13. EDIT: Tried with 7.0 (7086)

I setup a Windows 7 Pro SP1 (fully updated) machine and connected it to our 2008 R2 Domain.

I logged into the machine as the domain administrator.

I have installed IIS 7.5 onto Windows 7 Pro  with the following settings:

    post-272-0-47108000-1419216044_thumb.png

I installed the latest copy of PasswordState (7086). I select Auth via AD. It is set to use https://  passwordvault  9119.

I made the following changes to IIS 7.5 and restarted IIS.

I get the following error when connecting via the Active Directory server to: https://passwordvault:9119

(First, I am prompted for user/pass.)

Then I see this in Chrome...

I am prompted for the user/pass via IE 10/11. Then I see the following error:

Note, I did check the following in the Local Intranet Zone for IE:

    What do I do? I have uninstalled/reinstalled 3 times now... :(
