  1. Hello,

I have a folder which has the advanced model activated. I can see this folder and modify it. But I can't see the passwordlist(s) in there.

The folder says "Advanced Model - This folder is propagating permissions down to all nested folders and password lists."

There is definitly a passwordlist in this folder, I can see it via Administration tab but not in the Passwords tab.

My user (security administrator) has admin rights on the folder.

How can I get access to it?

  2. Ok, I've found something in the Administration section under Reporting.

There is a site called What permissions exist for a user?

But these data doesn't look up-to-date... Duration of 30 days is preselected and I can't change it.

Is there any function to see the current live permissions?

  3. Hello,

I am currently clearing up our Passwordstate instance.

My first thoughts were based on a best practice article found in the blog. This article describes the organization of the passwords into department folders with the help of security groups to give the permissions.

In our case the security groups are coming from an Active Directory. This makes total sense to me. But how could I organize passwords/password lists which needs to be cross-department accessible?

An idea was to create security groups for each of these cases but this could lead to a mass of new groups.

How do you organize these kind of special permissions? Are security groups the only way?

  4. Hello,

I just installed the App Server for the first time directly on my Passwordstate Server (version 9.3 build 9300).

I followed the installation guide till point 5.3 but can't query the SSL public key. The webserver itself of the App Server is not reachable if I try to access it via webserver. It's simply not loading...

Is there any logfile which I can check?

    Regards
